Terms
megrulad.ge is a free Mingrelian–Georgian dictionary. You don’t need an account to search or read. By using the site you agree to the rules below.
What megrulad.ge is
- An online dictionary that collects and preserves Mingrelian words. It is free to use.
- It began with Alio Kobalia’s “Mingrelian–Georgian Dictionary” and has been substantially expanded by the community.
- It is a living project: entries may change, be added or be removed over time.
Your account
- You sign in only with Google, Discord or GitHub. We never ask for or store a password.
- Use only an account you are entitled to use.
- What you do while signed in counts as yours.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
What you contribute
- Edits, new words, recordings, reports and review answers are checked before they appear.
- A contribution may be edited, rejected or later removed, without an explanation.
- Send only what you have the right to send: your own knowledge, or a recording of your own voice. Do not post someone else’s text or recording without permission.
- Once accepted, a contribution becomes part of the dictionary and stays even if you delete your account — without your name on it (see Privacy).
Rules of conduct
- No spam, abuse, harassment or deliberately false entries.
- No automated bulk submissions and no attempts to overload the site. Rate limits and moderation apply.
- If you break these rules your contributions may be removed and your access restricted.
Using the dictionary’s content
- You may read, quote and share entries freely for personal, educational and research use — please credit megrulad.ge.
- For copying the dictionary as a whole or in large part, or for commercial use, ask us on Discord first.
No warranty, and changes
- The site and its content are offered “as is”. Entries may be incomplete or wrong; tell us when you spot a mistake.
- The site may be unavailable at times. If that happens, we do our best to bring it back as quickly as we can.
- These terms may change; using the site after a change means accepting the new version.
